Our Studio

Kathryn Howard School of Dance opened in 1985 with forty enrollments and has seen growth to over four hundred enrollments over the past 33 years.

We are located in Roseburg, on the NW corner of Garden Valley Blvd and Stephens St (behind Ken's Dry Cleaning). Our new location has 6,000 sq ft of brand new dance space! With three large studios, sprung dance floors, mirrors, barres, dressing room and plentiful viewing areas for spectators.

Kathryn’s approach is wholesome and holistic. She believes dance is the vehicle for building not only artistry, poise, grace, coordination and rhythm, but also self-esteem in children. As they see themselves accomplish goals through discipline and effort, they progress in other areas of their life as well. Kathryn feels that she is helping not only to develop dancers, but healthy, happy people. Classes are taught in a positive atmosphere where creativity is allowed to blossom.
